Nordseecluster's first foundations have been received by RWE. The 1.6GW offshore wind project will be built in the German North Sea.
Eight foundations have been offloaded in the Eemshaven port, where 45 of the wind farm's monopile foundations in total will pass this year.
Nordseecluster will be built in two stages, A (with 660MW of capacity) and B (900MW). According to developer RWE, the facility is the largest offshore wind project currently in construction in Germany.
