Amazon has secured four power purchase agreements (PPAs) in Greece. The agreements are tied to three major wind farm projects currently under development in the country.
Two PPAs are related to the Vermio wind farm, a 44.4MW installation that will be split between Vermio North and Vermio South. The third PPA supports the 29.5MW Koukouras and the 35.4MW Mesokorfi developments.
Construction for the three initiatives is already underway, with start-up expected in 2026.
According to Amazon, this is the company's largest wind farm investment in Greece to date.
