ExxonMobil has recently disclosed that installation works have been completed for compression facilities in its Kipper field, offshore Australia. The project was intended to maintain the field's natural gas production while reservoir pressure decreases.
Additional compression was installed on Kipper's West Tuna platform. The project also covered the drilling of new production wells and subsea infrastructure.
Kipper is operated by ExxonMobil with a 32.5% stake in the project. Mitsui & Co. and Woodside Energy hold 35% and 32.5% stakes respectively.
