Petronas, Enilive and Euglena have officially taken a final investment decision (FID) on a biorefinery project in Malaysia. The facility will be built in Johor as part of Petronas' Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC).
The three companies will form a joint venture (JV) for the biorefinery's development.
The project is part of Enilive's efforts to reach its 2030 target capacity of five million tonnes of biofuel production per year.
The refinery should be operation in the second half of 2028, with construction beginning until the end of the year.
