bp has awarded an integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI) contract related to its Kaskida project to TechnipFMC. The company will be responsible for the design and manufacture of subsea production systems.
TecnipFMC has previously provided engineering and design works for Kaskida, which is located in the Gulf of Mexico. Now, the contractor will provide bp with 20,000psi (20K) subsea trees and manifolds, as well as subsea umbilicals, rise and flowlines.
The contract's value is estimated between US$250 and US$500 million.
