Commercial operations have begun at the solar segment of the Atrisco project, developed by Enlight Renewable Energy. Built near Albuquerque in Mew Mexico, United States, the facility features a generation capacity of 364MW.
Construction works were carried out by Clenera, a subsidiary of Enlight in the US. The solar park is scheduled to reach full operations in the coming weeks, while the energy storage segment of Atrisco will follow later in the year.
Atrisco's power output is secured by the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) through a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA). Once fully online, it will produce enough energy to power 110,000 homes in a year.
