Commonwealth LNG, which is currently developing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility of the same name in Louisiana, United States, has announced the securement of funding for the project.
According to the company, a group of private funds led by Kimmeridge Energy Management provided Commonwealth LNG a development capital investment. Its value has not been disclosed.
The Commonwealth LNG facility, to be located on the west bank of the Calcasieu Ship Channel, is expected to have a capacity of 9.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa).
