Why India?
India is one of the significant hubs for renewable energy activity in the Asia Pacific region, with a target of achieving 500 GW of installed renewable capacity and ensuring 50% of its total power capacity comes from clean energy sources by 2030.
EICDataStream is tracking 298 renewable projects in the country, with a combined capacity of over 236 GW, of which 70% of the capacity tracked are solar PV projects. Investments in renewable projects are expected to grow, supporting the country’s ambitions for green hydrogen deployment. India's vast land resources and skilled workforce enable large-scale renewable energy installations, which are critical to green hydrogen production.
The country has launched its National Green Hydrogen Mission, aiming to produce 5 MMtpa of green hydrogen by 2030. Given its significant renewable energy potential, India is positioned for a first-mover advantage in the global green hydrogen market. Notably, one of the country's largest planned hydrogen projects is being led by Reliance Power Ltd. The $12 billion hydrogen hub will be located at the Port of Kandla in Gujarat and will include multiple green hydrogen and ammonia production plants across 14 land plots covering 3,600 acres.
Why Exhibit?
Exhibiting at the UK Pavilion will reap significant benefits and opportunities for exhibitors. The UK Pavilion has a prime location within the exhibition hall and includes innovative UK branded stand designs to draw visitors to the group and increase footfall.
You will benefit from having a dedicated project manager to help support you throughout the planning process as well as having the ability to connect you with potential customers with the EIC facilitating key introductions.
The UK Pavilion also has a dedicated private lounge to hold meetings, network or enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. The list goes on and on.
