The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Sector Series 2022 is aimed at experienced exporters looking for their next export destination.
The GCC is already an important trading partner, with £23.1 billion worth of UK exports going there in 2020, and an overall trade relationship worth £32.4 billion.?? As a bloc, the GCC is the UK’s fourth largest export destination outside Europe, behind only the USA, China and Switzerland.
UK products and services are in high demand in a region that is already familiar with the UK, and there is room for growth in all six GCC markets: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The UK aims to begin free trade negotiations with the GCC later this year, to boost trade and investment between our countries.
