About this event

The Humber area has been a key integral part of the UK economy for decades. Boasting the UK’s busiest port, the area plays host to a number of key refineries such as the Total Lindsey Oil Refinery (LOR) and Phillips 66 Humber Refinery, not to mention the BP Chemicals Park at Saltend.
A raft of businesses continue to invest and thrive in the area – from marine engineering and logistics companies to chemicals manufacturers.
Some of the biggest opportunities for growth currently lie in renewable energy, chemicals, manufacturing and engineering.

EIC's Humber Showcase will provide delegates with an overview of the region’s business prospects and it will include:
An overview of BP Saltend Chemicals Park including details of site partners, plant maintenance, shut downs & turnarounds and their procurement policy and procedures.
An introduction to Spencer Group and the pioneering Energy Works development, the green energy plant which is the first of it's kind in the UK.
Bilfinger Industrial Services - their role on the Humber Bank including their work with BP Saltend and local supply chain requirements across the country as a whole.
